Currently supervising: Dane Eissler's "RePlay: Rediscovering Wonder, Subversion, and Authenticity in Theater-Making Practices" via the Trans Art Institute for Creative Research and Liverpool John Moores University, alongside Prof Simon Piasecki and Dr Michael Bowdidge. Dr T. J. Bacon is accepting PhD projects via Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Email her for an informal discussion of your application. She is particularly interested in supervising practice-as-research projects that may be experimentally constructed. Indicative research areas can be matched across transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary practices; touching on queer theories, inclusive of intersectional social engagement; performance art, live art, visual art, experimental theatre, and queer applications of phenomenology.
