Abstract

In an exciting collaborative project led by Iain Burnside, artists from the Guildhall School, Royal Irish Academy of Music, and the Juilliard School explore conflict in war and the impact on the families left behind for a new devised piece.
The project – entitled ‘Drums and Guns’ – is a powerful combination of music and literature commemorating both World War I and the 1916 Easter Rising in Dublin.
