Abstract
This poster describes findings from a qualitative study of UK music therapy trainers and admissions processes. These suggest a specific kind of musicianship is selected for and developed in music therapy training. I suggest that a particular musical pedagogy is active which emphasises musical versatility, resourcefulness and emotional capacity.
